Abstract

The process of the Al2O3/Al composite synthesis through the aluminum foil hydrothermal oxidation at 150-250C with subsequent calcination at 540C has been investigated. The evolution of the macro- and microtexture has been studied. The nonuniformity of oxide layer relief is discussed.
